As a distinguished lawyer, feminist, philanthropist, and social development thought leader, Jacqueline has almost three decades of experience in the international development sector. She is a knowledgeable and respected leader in Africa and beyond. Jacqueline is the Founder and CEO of CivSource Africa, an independent philanthropy advisory firm that seeks to refine the practice and footprint of philanthropy in Africa.

CivSource Africa’s aim is to reshape the narratives on philanthropy in Africa, focusing on redefining giving and generosity through storytelling, research, and advocacy. Jacqueline is keen on centering the philanthropy of, by and among women and other people at the margins in Africa. Her expertise in connecting traditional philanthropy with African feminist movements has empowered women and advanced feminist agendas across the continent. Her insights are instrumental in shaping the narrative around feminist philanthropy and its impact on the women’s rights movements.
